Who can join Rotary Club Kigali Mont Jali
RCKMJ welcomes professionals from all sectors and backgrounds. There is no single profile for a Rotarian. what unites our members is a commitment to service, ethical leadership, and community. If that resonates with you, we encourage you to reach out.
Do meetings take place in English or French?
Our club is primarily French speaking. But Rwanda’s bilingual professional environment is reflected in our club, and all members are welcome to participate in either language. We use both English and French
Can I attend a meeting before deciding to join?
Absolutely. We actively encourage prospective members to attend one or more meetings before making any commitment. Come and see for yourself there is no pressure and no obligation.
What is a Paul Harris Fellow?
A Paul Harris Fellow is a distinction awarded by the Rotary Foundation to individuals who contribute $1,000 or more to the Foundation. It is one of Rotary’s most recognised honours. RCKMJ currently has 11 Paul Harris Fellows among its members.
I am not based in Kigali — can I still join?
Our primary meeting venue is in Kigali, but we welcome members from all walks of life. We can discuss hybrid or flexible participation arrangements on a case-by-case basis. Reach out and let us talk.
