Who We Are

Rotary Club Kigali Mont Jali (RCKMJ) is a community of professionals united by a shared commitment to service, fellowship, and positive change. Chartered on 16 July 1999 and proudly affiliated with Rotary International District 9150, our club brings together more than 40 professionals from diverse sectors including banking, healthcare, law, education, business, research, mining, construction, tourism, and international development.

What unites us is not our professions, but our shared commitment to serving and making a difference.

Every meeting, every project, and every partnership reflects our belief that meaningful change happens when people of goodwill work together. Through service, fellowship, and ethical leadership, we strive to improve lives and strengthen communities across Rwanda.

We meet twice a month on Tuesdays at Mövenpick Hotel in Kigali, bringing together professionals who share a passion for service and positive change. Between meetings, our committees focus on planning, partnerships, and project implementation—ensuring that every moment invested by our members contributes to meaningful impact in the communities we serve.

Every number tells a story.

A Legacy Measured in Lives

A family with access to clean water. A child receiving the support they deserve. A young person discovering new opportunities.
A community strengthened through partnership. A vulnerable group finding a voice through advocacy.
A friendship formed through service. For more than 25 years, Rotary Club Kigali Mont Jali
has transformed goodwill into action and action into lasting impact.

OUR IMPACT

Serving Communities Across Rwanda

From Kigali to the hills of Rutsiro in Western Rwanda; from the shores of Lake Kivu in Rubavu to the communities of Muhanga, Huye, and Nyamagabe in the Southern Province; from the plains of Nyagatare to the growing communities of Bugesera in Eastern Rwanda, Rotary Club Kigali Mont Jali works alongside communities to address challenges that matter most.

Our projects focus on clean water, health, inclusive education, youth empowerment, environmental stewardship, social welfare, and the promotion of peace. Whether supporting children with autism, advocating for people living with albinism, equipping young detainees in correctional centres with vocational skills, expanding access to safe water, or supporting reconciliation efforts at Mbyo Reconciliation Village, our approach remains the same: connect, listen, collaborate, and act.
